Abstract :
The technology development project is a type of investment project, and it is therefore important to identify the performance indicators for the correct investment. The purpose of this research is to develop the criteria for success in the development of technology and to obtain a thorough analysis of the effects of the criteria on each other in order to make the right decisions on the investment path. In this research, the criteria for success in technology development are identified and categorized by a new approach from the point of view of project, plan, and portfolio differentiation. For this purpose, after identification of the criteria, their significance was measured by Likert scale questionnaire and various statistical tests such as t-test. Finally, according to the main objective of this research in relation to examining the association between success factors in each level of the project, plan and portfolio, the internal connection of the criteria was analyzed using DEMATEL method. From the results of this research, it is possible to identify and categorize the success criteria in the projects, plan and portfolios of technology development, and to identify the most influential and most important criteria in each of the project groups, plan and portfolio. Also, how to measure the impact and relevance of success metrics with each other is provided through "Network Mapping" diagrams.
