Most of the nation’s economic power to dominate the regional and trans-regional markets depends on the knowledge and technology and its application in creating various products consistent with the current worldwide demand. The use of technology in production and export leads to increased competiveness strength and enhanced worldwide market share. This study investigates the effect of innovation on high technology exports of Iran in comparison to the selected countries mentioned in the vision plan during 2007-2012 in order to provide policy recommendations to achieve the vision plan goals and seriously addressing the economic sanctions. The results indicate a positive relationship between innovation and high technology exports in studied countries. Among the studied countries, the worst and the best performance on high technology exports respectively are Qatar and Turkey. Iran ranked second in the region on high technology exports and in the couple of innovation indicators (The number of patents and scientific and technical papers) but for the other indicators of innovation, the situation is not desirable. Despite the presence of young and graduated generation and the development of higher education, due to inconsistencies between macroeconomic policies and research and innovation policies and also the lack of demand-driven innovative activities, still Iran has not reached the top position in exports of high technology in the region. So to seriously deal with economic sanctions and to achieve Vision′s goals, it is necessary to adopt appropriate macroeconomic policies in order to create demand for the development of innovation activities. Different levels of knowledge and technology among countries play a key role in describing the development gap between them. Hardware-based technology comprises equipment and machinery and software-based technology is an outcome of human intellect. The latter is protected by intellectual property rights. Protection of patents and inventions within the intellectual property framework plays a significant role in trade development of countries; because new ideas that their properties have been protected can create or strengthen competitive advantages. In this paper, we investigated 0the effect of protection of intellectual property rights on the export of Group 15 member countries during 1995-2007. The index of patent applications is used as an indicator of the level of protection of intellectual property rights. The effect of protection of property rights to export has been surveyed directly and through other variables such as GDP, foreign direct investments and Research and development expenditures. The results indicate that extensive protection of intellectual property rights in the domain of common needs for Group 15 members will provide suitable conditions for increased investment in R&D activities, foreign direct investment, competitiveness power and increasing the exports, especially high-tech exports, if the conditions for application of this patent is provided, then the protection of property rights will be effective on the export, directly of through other variables. Although at present time trade can not be the engine of growth by itself but still can help developing countries a lot. A developing country can move from a non-efficient point to an optimum point in production through trade. That's why export of industry in each country depends on exchange rates, research and development and productivity. The main purpose of this study is the role of R & D activities in the export industry with ISIC two-digit codes. For this purpose, a statistical panel (9 Industrial Groups during 2008-1995) within a logarithmic multivariate econometric model was used. Besides R & D expenditure variable effects of variables such as real effective exchange rate, the value of each industry profitability, firm size and the amount of square workforce, the share of foreign raw materials on export volume is also investigated. The results of this Regression Model indicate that within the study period, the real & effective rate of exchange, the amount of each industry's profits, labor force, and firm size has positive impacts on exports and the share of foreign raw materials (unlike Vernon cycle) does not affect exports, and R & D costs with some three-break codes have positive effects in some codes & in some other they make no sense. Export is one of the most important economic activities in the success of firms that has attracted attention of researchers and strategists. This attention is because of the convenience in using this strategy in entering in other international markets and due to benefits of export in development firms. This has motivated firms to acquire export knowledge and train it in their companies in order to guarantee their successful performance in expert. Ambidexterity is an approach that can be effective in terms of creating export knowledge. Ambidexterity, (with two dimensions of exploitation and exploration) in export companies, helps organizations to use export knowledge more effectively and efficiently, in other words ambidexterity can help export companies acquire learning capabilities as a learning organization. As a result, this learning capability can lead to more proper new products in competition. This paper investigates the effect of innovation ambidexterity on export knowledge and new product performance. In literature section we reviewed export and competition in international markets, innovation, export knowledge and competition power, ambidexterity and its dimensions and new product development. After reviewing the literature, we created a model based on the literature and experts views. Experts verified our model and the proposed hypotheses after some discussions. Our proposed model shows that ambidexterity and its dimensions has a positive effect on export knowledge and an effect on export performance while export knowledge has a positive effect on export knowledge. During recent decades, developed and developing countries’ economy have changed incrementally. In these years, physical resources and assets have lost their strategic significance and importance of knowledge both in production and services has grown significantly. Knowledge is now recognized as the driver of productivity and economic growth, leading to a new focus on the role of information, technology and learning in economic performance. Due to these fundamental changes, establishment of knowledge intensive SMEs and production of Knowledge-based and high tech products has grown considerably. Operating in international markets is one of the most important aspects of knowledge-based products developers. Knowledge-based products export as an effective factor in economic development has been considered by developed countries for many years. Although, utilization of such an economic approach has not long history in Iran and investigation of related information indicates inconsistent results in this field. This paper reviews related literature to shed more lights on knowledge-based export performance and related challenges for Iranian practitioners and then introduces several solutions focusing on the factors affecting exporters’ performance through knowledge-based products in export markets, finally presenting some suggestions both on researches and/or executions. The garment industry is one of the important and flourishing industries in the country that seems to grow in the export market besides the internal market. It’s considerable that performance measurement is a vital tool for access to basic improvements and it’s important in management. Therefore this research sought to found important and influencer indicators in the garment industry and determine the relationship between these indicators and their preference for each other. For perform this investigation, 35 indicators, obtained from literature review, filtered using questionnaires and experts opinion and then 16 indicators were selected as basic indicators based on Fridman’s method. Using ISM, a meaningful relationship and the importance of indicators were extracted. Penetration power and dependence of indicators determined with the MICMAC analysis. The ISM model showed that the “quality of design”, “planning”, and “applied education with the aim of export increase” indicators have the most impact and they act such as the infrastructure for the model. Also “new product introduction”, “brand promotion”, “increase ordering level”, “marketing”, “effective presence in international markets” and “financial” indicators stand at the top level of the model and are influenced by other indicators. MICMAC analysis showed that “quality of design”,” quality of adaptation”,” planning”, and “applied education with the aim of export increase” have strong driving power but weak dependence power; As a result, these factors are driving in the garment industry and should be a priority for the organization. The current world is the world of change and transformation. According to the special position of the steel industry in Iran and around the world, in order to grow Khuzestan steel, the expansion of exports needs to be a priority for the organization. In order to meet the priorities of the organization, it is necessary to take steps to create organizational agility, because global developments are facing significant speed and progress, and if Khuzestan Steel (KSC) lags behind these developments, it will not be able to offer its products well in foreign markets. Therefore, relying on knowledge creation and personnel training, it will outperform competitors in rapid changes in the market of competition and customers demand. In this study, the impact of exports and change management on organizational agility with respect to the mediating role of knowledge management with the principal component analysis (PCA) approach is reviewed. The present study is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this study is all employees of Khuzestan Steel Company, which are 389 people. All of them have worked from 1st of April 2019 to 1st of May 2020. In this study, 300 people have been considered to determine the sample size using Krejcie and Morgan (1960) table. Three types of evaluation validity were used to confirm the validity of the measurement tool, content validity, convergent validity, and divergent validity. The research data collection method is library and survey methods (field). Also, a questionnaire was used to collect data. SPSS and structural equations were used to analyze the data. All research hypotheses were confirmed and suggestions based on hypotheses were provided. Manuscript profile
